Two of the business ideologies mentioned in the article are the classical business creed and managerial business creed. The classical creed focuses on competition, materialism and free market. This business ideology saw profit as the main goal of an organization, whereas the managerial business saw social responsibility of the businesses. While the classical creed was famous in 20th century, the managerial creed started rising in the 21th century.
The managerial business creed got attention because currently the welfare and wellbeing of the community is the main goal for many businesses, but not all of them. To change that and create progressive corporations we need also progressive politics and laws. While it can be difficult to improve and progress it is not that hard if businesses and politics work together the same goal--> welfare of all citizens. |
